The mission of CARE is to protect the welfare and promote the humane treatment of animals by - providing shelter adn medical care for stray, abandoned or owner relinquished animal in San Juan Capistrano. To respond to animal needs with personal commitment, humane sensitivity, compassion, and technical skills. To actively pursue suitable adoptions of all adoptable and treatable animals. To promote and support spay and neuter programs. And to prevent cruelty to animals by supporting animal welfare legislation and education.
