About
Mountain Laurel Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, foster-based rescue in Transylvania County, NC. We are dedicated to the welfare and rehoming of stray cats and kittens. We also specialize in TNR (Trap/Neuter/Return).
Adoption Process
Potential adopters first fill out a pre-adoption questionnaire to ensure our animals are adopted into responsible homes. Once approved, we meet and adopters fill out the adoption contract, pay the adoption fee and take home their new best friend!
