Meet Max loaded with personality on ridiculously long legs!
Some dogs are built for laps. Some are built for adventure. Max apparently decided he would like to be both.
Max is a 5-month-old, lean 10-pound Chihuahua mix with the funniest long legs, a giant personality, and absolutely no idea that he is supposed to be a small dog.
This boy LOVES having fun. Give him another dog to chase and wrestle with and he is in heaven. Add a ball? Even better. Throw in a splash pad or kiddie pool? Now you’ve officially made his day. Max is playful, silly, curious, and always ready to see what’s happening next.
But here’s where Max really wins you over…
After he has exhausted himself playing, he becomes a professional snuggler. He wants to curl up beside his person, follow you around the house, and be included in whatever you're doing. He has that wonderful puppy combination of “LET’S GO!” followed by “Okay, now hold me.”
And Max isn't just adorable he is already a pretty impressive little guy. He is crate trained and potty trained, and he has a great foundation for his forever family to continue building on. He has grown up in a doggie daycare environment.
Max would especially love a home with another playful, dog-friendly pup because canine friendships are one of his favorite things in the world however it is not a requirement. He doesn't need a giant yard or a family that is constantly on the go. He just needs people who want a dog who is part of the action, whether that action is playing fetch in the backyard or watching TV with his head in your lap.
Honestly, we don't understand why this kid isn't getting more attention.
Maybe it's the long legs. Maybe he's waiting for the person who appreciates a dog who can go from full-speed zoomies to full-body snuggle mode in approximately 30 seconds.
What we do know is that Max is ready.
He's ready for his own family.
He's ready for his own couch.
He's ready for someone who thinks his goofy legs and giant personality are pretty much perfect.
If you’ve been looking for a small dog who is actually fun, incredibly affectionate, dog-friendly, and ready to be your sidekick, Max might be the one you've been waiting for.
Don't let his 10-pound body fool you. Max is the full package deal!
