Each organization sets the adoption fee for their animals. Adoption fees help cover the cost of this animal’s care as well as allowing the organization to help more animals.
Candy will need:
Positive reinforcement training
Frequent potty breaks and supervision
Patience and consistency
Daily routine and structure
Continued socialization and exposure
Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule:
3 days to decompress
3 weeks to learn your routine
3 months to fully feel at home
With patience, structure, and love, puppies like Candy grow into wonderful lifelong companions.
Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care
Owning a puppy is a lifelong commitment that includes training, exercise, routine veterinary care, financial responsibility, and emotional commitment throughout every stage of life.
Candy will need:
Ongoing puppy training and guidance
Routine veterinary visits and vaccine boosters
Preventative care including flea, tick, and heartworm prevention
Proper nutrition and growth monitoring
Daily exercise, enrichment, and companionship
A safe, stable, indoor living environment
Puppies require regular veterinary care throughout their first year, including booster vaccines, wellness exams, and spay surgery when age-appropriate.
Because Candy is still young, adopters should also be prepared for the normal puppy phases that come with growing and learning, including chewing, teething, accidents, and continued social development.
Candy is an indoor family dog and is not to be chained or left outside.
