Coach is rounding third and trying to head for home if you'll have him! Coach is a gentle, 7-month-old, 35 lb pup who is a star example of what resiliency looks like. Coach was rescued by a Good Samaritan after he was found starving, covered in fleas, and doing his best just to survive. Through the whole ordeal, not once did this boy’s spirit ever dim. After some tender love and care, Coach has blossomed into the affectionate, people‑loving pup he was always meant to be. He has been thriving in foster homes and even lived peacefully with four other dogs before. He’s friendly, respectful, and happy to be part of the pack; even if the pack includes children!
Coach is crate-trained, intelligent, responds well to re-direction, knows "sit," and is eager to please. While he enjoys a good squeaker toy, it's obvious what he loves most is being pet and cuddling with his people. He will stretch his whole body out to give you direction on how to give him the best full belly rubs. He soaks up attention, leans in for affection, and greets everyone like they’re already his friend.
After everything he’s been through, he’s still full of trust and sweetness. Coach is neutered, microchipped and current on his vaccines and preventatives. His adoption fee is $415. Coach's game winning advice for his future team: don't just talk about it, BE about it and apply today to adopt him, COACH LONESTAR, at ehrdogs.org.
