Meet Aspen! He is a male 3 month old Great Pyrenees puppy. He weighed 25lbs around 2 months, we expect him to be around 90-100 when fully grown. He is goofy, playful, and affectionate.
Aspen is very sweet and loving. He likes to follow you around the house. When you're sitting, he likes to put his paws in your lap and give out kisses. He will even lick at the air to give you kisses from far away.
He is cautious when new people quickly reach out to pet him, he will hide under the coffee table if they start following him. Since he is a puppy, proper socialization with new people, dogs and experiences would be very helpful to help him become even more confident. He has not been around children yet but parents should be aware he is a teething puppy and will grow up to be very large.
Aspen enjoys playing with dogs and is curious/cautious about new dogs, but quickly ends up following them around trying to give kisses. When excited he will do 'air chomps'.
He loves toys, mostly ripping them apart. He has bursts of energy usually followed by a long nap.
He is still learning to be gentle with the cats in his foster home, he will rush and chase them.
Aspen is house trained. He isn't a big fan of his crate and will let you know by howling, but he will settle down after about 10 minutes.
He has been on a few walks and does well but will pull if he doesn't want to go the same way as you.
He recently learned how to sit!
Aspen is such a sweet pup! And will be such a fun loving addition to any home.
Aspen is currently in a foster home in DFW area of Texas. We do adopt out of state, however adopters must arrange their own transport as we do not provide any. Aspen must go to a home with another dog to play and teach manners. His adoption fee is $300.
