Meet Chica!
Chica is a 1-year-old, 13-pound Chihuahua mix who is ready to leave motherhood behind and start the next chapter of her life with a family of her very own.
On June 6th, Chica gave birth to three beautiful puppies by C-section. She has been a wonderful mom, and now that her puppies are weaning, it's finally her turn to be spoiled, loved, and finish recovering while enjoying the carefree life she deserves.
Chica can be a little shy when meeting new people, but don't let that fool you. Once she feels safe and gets to know you, she transforms into a sweet cuddle bug who simply wants to be by your side. She loves spending time with her people and is happiest when she's close to them.
Chica is crate trained and about 90% house trained, and she continues to make great progress. She is also fully vaccinated and already spayed, so she's ready to head home with her forever family.
If you're looking for a small companion with a gentle heart who is ready to be loved after raising her babies, Chica may be the perfect addition to your family.
Could you be the one to give this sweet girl the happy ending she deserves? ❤️
If you are interested in adopting Chica, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.
**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
