Meet Little Bit!
This 3-year-old, 17 lb Pug mix has an adorable underbite and one of the sweetest, gentlest hearts you'll ever meet.
Little Bit takes a little time to warm up to new people, but once he trusts you, you have a loyal best friend for life. He loves staying close to his people — call his name if he wanders and he'll come running right back. His favorite pastime? Flopping upside down for belly rubs.
He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has done well with cats in his foster home, offering a polite sniff hello before going about his day.
Little Bit is best suited to a patient, understanding home. It's clear he didn't have the easiest start in life — when he's frightened or meeting someone new, he may "pancake" to the ground while he processes what's happening. A family willing to let him move at his own pace will help him keep building the confidence he's already shown so much progress on. He's also working on house training and will thrive with a family committed to consistency and positive reinforcement — he's already proving how eager he is to learn.
Once Little Bit feels safe, his affectionate side truly shines: he's a champion cuddler with the kindest, most loving soul.
If you have room in your heart for a gentle, loyal companion who just needs a chance to feel safe and loved, Little Bit could be your perfect match.
