Abby is a mini, long-haired Dachshund who was rescued by her mom. Her mom recently passed unexpectedly. Her mom's only wish was that Abby and her sister BB be adopted together to a loving home. We will honor that wish.
Abby doesn't have experience with small kids, in fact we prefer only older respectful kids because the sisters are so small. She is good with older kids.
She is house-trained but will use a pee pad if necessary. Otherwise, she doesn't have accidents on the flooring.
Her mom fed her
a special type of dachsund food with crumbled cooked chicken mixed in. We would like to keep her diet consistent at least while she is adapting to her new environment.
