All people inquiring about pets listed as Courtesy Listings on the EAPL website and/or EAPL posting adoption boards should contact the current pet owner/rescue/shelter for answers to any questions and for final approval and placement. Please do not contact EAPL about courtesy listings. The pet owner/rescue/shelter and new owner shall make all arrangements on transferring the pet, including information on history, vaccines, etc.

Bad, Bad Leroy Brown? More like Good, Good Leroy Brown.
Despite the name, Leroy is a total goofball. He’s the class clown of the group and has a way of making people laugh with his goofy personality. Underneath that tough-guy name is a loyal, funny dog who loves his person.
Leroy is six years old, crate trained, potty trained, and wonderful on leash. He knows sit, down, and place (though he’d enjoy a quick refresher on that last one).
Leroy is looking for an experienced, adult-only home. He can be selective with new people and does best with slow, respectful introductions. He has been muzzle trained and is comfortable wearing a muzzle when needed, including in group settings. For Leroy, it’s simply another management tool that helps him safely navigate the world.
He can also be selective with other dogs. Leroy currently lives successfully in a multi-dog household and wears his muzzle in group settings as an extra precaution. He has never needed to be the life of the party—he’s happiest with his people and a calm, structured home where his boundaries are understood and respected.
Leroy isn’t the dog for everyone, and that’s perfectly okay. He’s looking for someone who sees past the tough-guy name and appreciates the goofy, loyal dog underneath. Earn his trust, and you’ll gain a devoted companion with a hilarious personality and a heart of gold.
