Thomas is a gorgeous 9-year-old Maine Coon mix with a luxurious coat and excellent litter box habits. This handsome boy may be a little shy when meeting new people, but don’t let his initial hesitation fool you. Once you start petting him and he realizes he’s safe, his affectionate side comes out in full force—and he won’t want to leave your side.
Thomas is truly a people-oriented cat. Unlike many cats, he is not especially motivated by treats or toys. In fact, he doesn’t even get particularly excited about breakfast or dinner because what he wants most is your love and attention. Human companionship is his favorite thing in the world.
He is an incredible snuggler who loves to rub his face against you, soak up gentle pets, and occasionally give sweet little kisses. If you stop petting him too soon, Thomas will literally place his paws on you and try to pull your hand back for more affection. It’s one of the most endearing things about him!
As a Maine Coon mix, Thomas has a lot of beautiful fluffy fur, so he will need an adopter who is committed to regular brushing to keep his coat healthy and mat-free. The good news? Brushing is his absolute favorite activity. He happily leans into the brush and enjoys every minute of the attention.
Thomas would thrive in a home that can give him patience during the initial adjustment period and plenty of affection once he settles in.
