Here's Your Quick Peek:
Dazzle is an adorable little Pekingese/Shih Tzu mix who came to us from a hoarding situation at the end of March 2026. She was scheduled to be spayed shortly after arriving, but an ultrasound revealed that she was pregnant. Dazzle returned to the farm, gave birth to her beautiful family, and raised her babies with love.
Now that her puppies have moved on, it is finally Dazzle’s turn.
She had three teeth extracted during her dental, but otherwise her medical evaluation looked good.

Must have:
Exercise: Not a big deal for Dazzle, she's happy to run around the yard. Reminder that both Pekingese and Shih Tzus are brachycephalic breeds, so Dazzle has the shorter nose typical of that mix. Brachycelphalic breeds need to have careful exercise.
Best with: Dazzle would fit into a variety of environments. She really would prefer a companion dog in her home and if there is not another dog, a plan for play dates at least 2 to 3 times per week with other gregarious, small dogs.
Not ideal for: Homes looking for a high energy dog. Dazzle is a live and let live kind of girl.
Energy level: Medium and appropriate for a very small dog.
Dazzle is curious, playful, affectionate, and confident. She has no fear, meets no strangers, and believes the world is a wonderful place. She would be happiest with someone who loves a cuddly little dog and wants an affectionate companion nearby.
Good with dogs: All dogs we have introduced her to so far.
Good with kids: Unknown but given how gregarious she is in general, we think respectful children would find Dazzle a happy companion
Cats: We have not introduced Dazzle to cats
Fun fact: Dazzle can go up stairs, but she has not quite figured out how to come back down. She is eager to learn and is searching for a patient life coach who can teach her how to “down” the staircase she just went up.
