Currently Living at: South Carolina shelter - Goose needs a foster or adopter to make his way to the DC area
Special adoption considerations: Goose was rescued from a hoarding situation in South Carolina. He has not been well socialized with new people and has lived his whole life with other dogs. New noises, cars, bikes, and other things may create fear and anxiety. He will need a patient adopter who can give him time to come out of his shell and learn that the world is a wonderful and welcoming place.
Goose is Looking For:
Meet Goose! This pup is a whole lot of personality packed into a compact 14-pound package. Goose came from a hoarding situation, which means he didn't get the easiest start in life — but he's showing every day that he's ready to leave that behind him and soak up all the love, attention, and good things a real home has to offer. Dogs who come from situations like his often just need a little extra patience and kindness at first, and in return they give back so much loyalty and affection.Goose is looking for a family who will go at his pace, let him settle in on his own terms, and help him learn that the world is actually a pretty great place. Whether it's his corgi side coming out in a happy little zoomie or his terrier side perking up at every interesting smell on a walk, Goose brings a lot of joy in a small size.If you're looking for a devoted little sidekick with a big personality and an even bigger second chance ahead of him, Goose might just be your guy. What My Foster Says About Me: Coming Soon!
