Meet Murphy!

Murphy joined our rescue just two weeks ago, and now this handsome little guy is on the hunt for his forever family! At 3½ months old and 18 pounds, he's the perfect mix of cute, goofy, and cuddly. We definitely see Shepherd in him, and some of his siblings look like they have Lab mixed in too. Our best guess is he'll grow into a handsome 60-ish pound adventure buddy!
Murphy has never met a stranger—everyone is his new best friend! People? Yep. Kids? Absolutely. Dogs? You bet. Cats? They're friends too! His foster home has all of the above, and Murphy fits right in.
One thing you'll notice right away is how devoted Murphy is to his people. He's your very own little shadow! If he isn't sitting on your feet, he's watching to see what you're doing next. ❤️ He just loves being wherever his favorite humans are.
And brains? This boy has them! (We blame the Shepherd genes. ) He's already making great progress with house training and crate training. Like any puppy, he'll need continued training, lots of playtime, and plenty of exercise—but he's eager to learn and aims to please.
Murphy is also great at keeping himself entertained with his toys when you're busy, but the minute you're ready for an adventure, he's all in! He rides beautifully in the car, making him the perfect co-pilot for errands, weekend getaways, or trips to the park.
Now, let's talk about one of Murphy's favorite hobbies... SWIMMING! This water-loving pup is happiest splashing around in the pool and having the time of his life. If your summer plans include water, Murphy would love to be your official swim buddy!
