Pookie
is an extremely playful, spunky kitty with
loads
of energy. He will run and jump until he starts panting, and still won’t want to stop. He is very easily entertained and will play with just about anything; however, his favorite toys to play with on his own are spirals, rabbit fur toys, feathers and shoelaces.
Pookie also enjoys interacting with his person and wants to be involved in what they’re doing. When he hears you making the bed, he'll come running to “help”. He will often jump onto your back, climb onto your shoulders, and curl himself around your neck so he can get a better look at whatever has your attention. If you tap on your chest and call his name, he’ll come up to you, meow, and proceed to jump up so you can catch him. He’ll then get himself nice and cozy in your arms so you can carry him around. He
loves
when his human brings out the long fishing rod wand toys-this is when he gets to show off his crazy high jumping abilities. Pookie is also excellent at playing fetch; he will bring the toy directly back to your hand!
Pookie is soooo soft. He has an extra puffy tail and cute little ear tufts. He is extremely affectionate and very accepting of hugs, kisses and belly rubs. He is a little shy toward new cats and may take some time to warm up to them. He gets along great with his foster sister, Twister, though, so please consider adopting them together! She is very brave and he follows her around everywhere…he’s been much more willing to try new things after she’s tested them out first!
