Atlas (A140003) is a 2-year-old DMH who weighed 13.75 pounds on intake! 08/03/26 This lovely guy is Atlas! Atlas was surrendered back to the shelter with his feline friend Otis, and doggy companion Hades. All three are looking for their new places to call home! He was described as a friendly kitty, who can be shy initially. But given time, he warms up well and is quite the lovebug! He was also said to do well with other animals as long as appropriate introductions have been made. Atlas was said to use the litterbox and has used it well. Atlas was surrendered to the shelter because he did not appreciate the hyper dogs in his previous home. Atlas was said to do okay around dogs in general, but he is easily stressed out when they are too rambunctious. For this reason, we recommend Atlas finds a home without dogs. He was said to do well with other cats, bnut please make sure to do proper slow introductions. Atlas does not have experience with children or babies. Slow and controlled introductions are the key to success. He was said to use his litter box well and was described as being friendly and affectionate.
