Meet Steve, the sweetest little house panther to ever come out of the Upside Down. This handsome boy has a sleek black coat with the most magical surprise. When the sunlight catches him just right, you can see the faintest black tabby stripes shimmering through his fur. Add in his adorable gray collar and you've got one seriously handsome kitten who's anything but ordinary.
Steve is part of the Stranger Things litter, and while he might be the most thoughtful of his eight siblings, he's definitely not shy. He's simply the kind of kitten who likes to watch the world for a minute before jumping in. While his brothers and sisters rush over to greet everyone, Steve hangs back to see what's happening. Then, once you've made the first move, he'll happily soak up all the love you have to give.
Being held? Yes, please. Gentle pets? Absolutely. Brushing sessions? He loves those too. Steve melts into affection once he knows you, rewarding every cuddle with the sweetest, most soothing purr. Before long, his curious little personality starts to shine. He'll quietly follow you from room to room, supervise your daily chores, and poke his tiny nose into whatever you're doing because, naturally, he feels it's his job to help. If something needs investigating, Steve is already on the case.
When he's not busy being your adorable little assistant, Steve is ready to play. Wand toys are his absolute favorite because they mean spending time with his people, but spring coil toys and fuzzy mice are just as exciting. He loves climbing up tall cat trees to survey his kingdom before curling up inside a cozy cat cave, stretching out in a sunny window, or claiming the warmest heated bed he can find. If your lap happens to be available, don't be surprised if that becomes one of his favorite nap spots too.
Steve is as easygoing as they come. He has wonderful litter box manners, happily scratches both tall scratching posts and cardboard scratchers, and even sits politely for nail trims. He strolls right into his carrier like it's no big deal, and he's always excited when it's mealtime. Wet food, dry food, snacks... Steve is a fan of them all.
Growing up with seven siblings has made Steve a wonderful friend to other cats. He especially enjoys snuggling up for naps with his sister Nancy, but he truly loves the company of all his littermates. Because he's happiest with a feline friend nearby, Steve is looking for a home where he can be adopted with one of his siblings or join a family that already has a friendly, playful cat waiting to welcome him.
Steve has also won over everyone he's met, from adults and young children to complete strangers. His gentle, easygoing nature makes him a lovely companion for a family with kind, respectful kids who know how to let a kitten settle in at his own pace.
