Black Bean is a smaller boy (weighs approx. 35 lbs.) that is 3 years old. He is neutered and vaccinated.
Bean is good with other dogs and with kids. He does chase cats, so a 'cat-free' home would be perfect!
He is crate and leash trained and knows basic commands. Here is some info from his previous owner....
"I was his previous owner and surrendered him because I didn’t have the time to give him that he deserves. He’s very energetic and would do great if you have 1-2 hours a day of play and walks, etc. outside. He knows the commands sit, stay (needs work), wait, place, and leave it.
-Place is the command you use to get him to go into his crate.
-Wait works when you're opening doors and don’t want him to walk in front of you when going through, useful for elevators. As well as when you’re pouring his food into a bowl.
-Leave it, if you drop something on the floor and don’t want him to grab it, say “leave it” (this needs more work.)
He is a very very smart dog and learns fast so teaching him commands with a good treat will not be an issue. Wish I had the time for that baby."
Adoption fee... $175, cash or credit card, includes spay/neuter, first shots and microchip.. If you already have a dog, bring them in with you for a 'meet and greet'. Mon.-Sat. 10-4
