Meet Rosette!
Rosette is a sweet senior girl looking for a special person who understands that trust takes time. She came to us with her brother after their beloved owner passed away, turning their world upside down. After losing the person she loved, Rosette is understandably cautious when meeting new people.
Rosette will need a patient, compassionate home willing to let her adjust at her own pace. She may try to bite when she's frightened or unsure, especially during those first introductions, so it's important to respect her boundaries and allow her to build trust on her own terms. Once she feels safe, though, you'll discover the sweetheart hiding beneath her worried exterior. One of Rosette's favorite things is being held and curling up in a warm lap with someone she loves.
Rosette gets along well with other dogs and would do best in a calm, predictable home with older, considerate children who can understand her need for space while she settles in.
We've completed bloodwork on Rosette, and everything came back normal. She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and current on ProHeart 12 and Bravecto.

Rosette is currently located in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, Kentucky, and locations along the East Coast for an additional $250 transport fee. Please note that we are unable to transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to state regulations.
