What to Love about Teddy:

Once he feels safe, Teddy becomes the sweetest little shadow — happiest snuggled beside you, following you from room to room, or running joyfully around the yard! He is timid at first and may growl or bark when meeting new people or when someone re‑enters a room, but with slow introductions, patience, and gentle reassurance, he warms up beautifully. He truly just needs someone who understands anxious dogs and will give him the time he needs to feel brave.

Teddy prefers a home where his humans are around often or will include him in their daily adventures — he struggles with being left alone, even with other dogs, and doesn’t enjoy being crated. He gets along with the resident dogs in his foster home but mostly chooses to be near his people. He walks nicely in the neighborhood, hasn’t met cats yet, and is open to a meet‑and‑greet. Teddy is working on his potty training, uses pee pads, and may have occasional accidents. He’s not destructive, though he may jump or knock things over when anxious, so crating is only needed in spaces with breakable items.
