Named after the legendary rock climber, Margo is certainly living up to her name! This sweet Husky mix has shown us she isnât afraid to climb â or even jump a park fence when she decides she wants to be somewhere else. While her adventurous spirit is adorable, it also tells us she may struggle with being separated from her people and will need a patient adopter who can help her build confidence and feel secure.Margo is truly one of the sweetest girls you will ever meet, and her absolute favourite thing in the world is a good hug. She is still finding her confidence in new surroundings, and our staff are working patiently with her on her leash skills so she can feel comfortable and eventually enjoy walks. She has also been doing well meeting other dogs at the shelter, and some of her canine friends seem to have helped her come out of her shell. With the right match, Margo may benefit from having another confident, friendly dog in her forever home to help show her the ropes.Margo has some work ahead of her, but underneath her uncertainty is an incredibly loving, sweet girl who is just waiting to feel safe and confident. If youâre looking for a gentle companion who will happily climb her way into your heart, Margo might just be your girl! Please call Toronto Animal Services West shelter at 416 338 6271 for more information about the adoption process. Please note all meet and greets are by appointment only.
