Meet Tater
Tater is an adorable 12-week-old tabby kitten whose little life didn’t have the easiest beginning. He and his littermate, Spud, were found trying to survive on the streets until a Forgotten Cats volunteer came to their rescue and brought them to safety.
Since then, Tater has received all the care he needed. He’s been medically treated, neutered, and is up to date on his vaccinations. But perhaps the biggest change has been something even more important: Tater is finally learning what it feels like to be safe and loved. ❤️
Once comfortable he really is a fun loving guy, especially with other playful kittens/cats.
Tater can be a reserved little guy around new people, he who didn’t experience the kindness and affection a young kitten should have known from the start. Understandably, he’s still learning that people can be gentle and good. And he’s making remarkable progress! Each day, surrounded by loving hands, cozy comforts, and plenty of good food, Spud is becoming a little braver and more trusting.
One thing Tater already knows for certain is that he loves other cats. He feels happiest and most confident with a feline friend nearby, *so we would love to see him adopted with his littermate, Spud, or into a home with another friendly cat who can be his companion and help show him the way.
Tater may need a little patience while he continues to blossom, but watching this sweet boy discover that the world can be a kind place is incredibly rewarding.
Please consider giving Tater the loving forever home he’s just beginning to learn he deserves.
