Meet Fern!
Meet Fern, a beautiful black tortie with a heart that just wants to be loved. Fern absolutely loves attention and affection from her people and would happily spend her days curled up right beside you, soaking up all the love she can get.
Fern can be a little shy when she first enters a brand-new environment. She may need some extra time, patience, and reassurance to feel comfortable—but once she does, you’ll have gained yourself a best friend and the sweetest little shadow. She’ll follow her favorite person around and be happiest simply knowing she’s close by.
Fern definitely enjoys playing with her brothers, but if she had to choose between playtime and cuddling up next to her person, the cuddles would win every time. She’s a gentle, affectionate girl who would thrive in a patient and loving home where she can take her time coming out of her shell.
If you’re looking for a loyal little companion who will eventually become your constant cuddle buddy and best friend, Fern might just your girl.
We encourage you to consider adopting kittens in pairs! There are several reasons why
Fern
would do good with a friend, including:
-Two kittens keep each other entertained - they will play and get all their energy out on each other in time for snuggles with you!
-Having two kittens to play with each other prevents "I'm lonely and bored" behavioral issues.
-Watching two kittens wrestle is quite possibly the cutest thing you will ever see.
-The kittens will teach each other "how to cat" and learn to be more social with humans and people.
-You'll save two lives instead of one!
Fern
is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations,
spayed
, and litter box trained.
Fern
's adoption fee is $165. Please note A.R.F. does not approve applications for any kitten under 6 months of age to families that live outside of Illinois and/or beyond 100 miles of Wheaton or Glen Ellyn, IL.
