[YELLOW]Background: Brought in stray by ACO on 8/4/2026. Dog was given yellow dot on intake. Staff noted dog was yellow bx00#28;only d/t size and leash pulling. Otherwise, easy to handle and sociable.bx00#29; First time meeting handler for evaluation on 8/12/26.O: Dog was at the front of the kennel, soft face, pulled back ears, fast wagging nub. Easy to leash. Walked on leash slightly ahead of handler with moderate pulling, checking in with handler, some intermittent hard pulling. Outside, pulled toward another dog in an adjacent yard with two or three soft bx00#28;boofbx00#29; barks. Oriented to handler with happy talk. Moved to another yard and let off leash. Urinated x1 (3rd outing of the day). Dog oriented to handler, leaned against all pets all over head, neck, chest, back with relaxed musculature and fast wagging nub. Jumped up near handler and bounced around but did not make contact. Sat when asked. Went to down position when asked. Soft mouth taking treats. Followed tossed stuffy toy, picked up and played, bouncing around the yard holding the toy in his mouth. Played fetch once. Partial loose leash walking back to kennel. Intermittent pulling. Dog entered kennel without issue. Handler removed slip leash by hand while petting dog around the head and neck.B A: Affiliative, playful juvenile. Shows enjoyment with pets. Presents as stable, medium energy. Walks well on leash with some loose leash and some intermittent moderate to hard pulling. Knows sit and down.B Playful and enjoys independent toy play. Possibly house trained. Yellow for volunteer handling due to large size and potential to pull hard on leash.B P: Make available for adoption. Continue to work on basic manners (leash skills, recall, sit) using a patient, reward-based training approach.
