Noni is a sweet 3-year-old girl who is ready for a quiet, comfy indoor life. If you are looking for a little angel to keep you company while you work, study, or relax at home, Noni is the cat for you!
Noni absolutely loves people. She is quick to greet a new friend by rubbing her soft head against their hand or leg, and will show you she is happy by picking a comfortable spot near you for biscuits, slow blinks, and showing her belly. She will protest with a little cry if you’re late for breakfast, but will always come over to say thank you after eating. She is grateful to be safe after living outside, and ready to pour affection on the people who make that possible for her.
Noni doesn’t need much to keep her entertained. Her favorite activities are napping, snacking, and watching squirrels on cat TV - especially when one of her humans is at her side. With some patience, she might learn how to play with toys, but for now she prefers to just watch the world go by from a comfy chair.
Noni would like you to stay still during touch so she can set the pace. She occasionally gets overstimulated and sets boundaries by batting with a paw. She likes having a cat cave she can retreat to if there is a new or scary noise, but she quickly comes back out to explore when the coast is clear. She is still nervous about having enough to eat, and feels calm when there is always a little dry food available between meals. She has become more confident every day in a very short time, and is sure to blossom in her forever home!
Noni was rescued with dental issues and is in need of surgery. We would be thrilled for a potential adopter to provide a larger adoption donation (between $250 and $400 total) and/or assistance crowdsourcing funds towards their necessary vet bills if possible.
This cat would prefer to be adopted alone and be the only cat in the home.
