Meet Yorkie! The Little Guy Who Thinks Every Lap Belongs to Him
Yorkie was found as a stray on the streets of Puerto Rico, but you'd never know this sweet boy had a rough start to life by the way he loves people.
His foster mom says he is “so sweet” and “such a good boy” and that he seems completely starved for love. He wants ALL the love he can get. He loves to snuggle, likes everyone he's met, and enjoys the company of other dogs.
He has even decided that sleeping with his foster's granddaughter is pretty much the best thing ever. And when he isn't cuddling with people, he's trying to convince Colby, the resident dog, that they should be best friends. Colby isn't always convinced, but Yorkie remains optimistic!
Yorkie has two sides. He can be incredibly chill and happy to curl up beside you, but then his puppy side takes over and suddenly it's time to RUN! He loves to play and has taken ownership of every dog toy he can find. The pool, however, did not make his list of favorite activities.
And his groomer absolutely fell for him too!
She said he was “sooooo sweet” and that whoever gets this guy is lucky. He did wonderfully for his grooming, even closing his eyes and relaxing during parts of it. He was a little nervous about having his face groomed, but responded beautifully to snuggles and kisses.
That pretty much sums up Yorkie: a little nervous sometimes, incredibly affectionate, and happiest when someone is showing him love.
