Aslan is a sweet, playful kitten with plenty of curiosity and energy, but he's still figuring out that people aren't so scary. He loves all the fun that comes with being a kitten, and with patience and encouragement, his affectionate personality will continue to blossom.
Aslan is looking for a home with a confident, friendly feline companion who enjoys having another cat around. A social adult cat or confident young cat will help him feel secure, provide companionship, and show him that people can be trusted while giving him a playmate to burn off all that kitten energy.
Aslan's adopter should be prepared to dedicate time to his socialization. He'll need to start out in a small, quiet room and have multiple short socialization sessions each day for a few weeks while he learns to feel comfortable with his new family. This extra effort is essential to helping him reach his full potential. Without proper socialization, under-socialized kittens can remain fearful and spend much of their lives hiding. Aslan is not a good fit for a home with young children, but in a patient, understanding home, he has every opportunity to grow into a fun, loving companion.
