Brutus Cappuccino is coming to Pei People from a family who had to make the heartbreaking decision to surrender him because of allergies in the home. He was very loved, and this was absolutely not a decision they wanted to make. Sometimes life and medical issues force impossible choices. ❤️
Now let’s talk about this ridiculously cool guy…
Clearly, Brutus is not 100% Shar Pei. And honestly, the running joke around the rescue is that very few Shar Pei would be motivated enough to learn all the commands and tricks this guy knows!
Brutus is SMART. Like, really smart.
He’s fantastic with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and ages—young, old, big, little—and he LOVES to play. A playful canine companion in his forever home would be a huge bonus.
And yes… he’s completely house trained.
Then there’s that coat. His gorgeous cappuccino coloring and horse-coat-like texture give him a look all his own. Add in those Shar Pei wrinkles and his compact 37-pound frame, and you’ve got one seriously unique package.
