Hi, my name is Sushi. I was pretty scared when I first came into rescue but my foster mom says I've since turned into a "snuggle monster". When she first gets home, I like to stand at her feet, meow, rub on her legs, and follow her around until she picks me up for snuggles and then I purr loudly! Once I've had my fill of snuggles, I do love to run around and play! I love all sorts of different toys, tunnels, and towers but the teaser wands and ball tracks are my favorite right now!
I'm currently in foster care with my sister, Lo Mein, and we play well together... we love to wrestle and chase each other. Our foster mom has also caught us cuddling and grooming each other. We don't have to be adopted together but wouldn't mind staying together or if you have other cat(s) in the home that would be great also. Our foster mom also has a couple of dogs which we've mostly seen from afar... I met the big, hairy one up close once but as soon as she moved, it scared me... if you have a dog, it may take me a little bit to get used to him or her, but I am young and likely would come around with proper introduction.
Sushi's adoption fee is $100 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations, and an FeLV test. Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor only pets and that adopters have a history of having kept their pets altered and current on vaccinations and preventative care. Our adoption process includes a background check, home visit, and vet history check.
