Coffeemate and her little brother were about 2 days old when they came through one of our local humane societies, and sadly the little boy passed within hours. But Coffeemate and her big personality survived and thrived, and she has grown into a playful and entertaining young lady, so named for a coffee creamer since her face is half-n-half. Being a single since she was a couple of days old meant she didn’t have any littermate to learn appropriate play cues from, so she later got to bunk with Aurora and they have developed a wonderful relationship of playing and wrestling, along with snuggling and cuddling. Coffeemate is very social and happy to be snuggled when she’s not wound up for playtime. We LOVE seeing our babies adopted in pairs… having a familiar sibling/buddy helps ease their transition to a new home, and gives them a constant companion for life.
