Gia is a 6.5 month old, spayed 15 pound little island girl who is growing into such a sweet companion. She may be a little cautious about some things, but once she decides she likes you, she’s all about the cuddles! Gia is basically house trained, with only a couple of accidents. She sleeps happily in her crate most nights, although she also does wonderfully when given the freedom to sleep upstairs with her foster family. And this girl is a serious cuddler! She loves staying in physical contact with her people all night long. ❤️ Loves other dogs and is playful while respecting their boundaries. Great with most people, although she definitely has favorites. Nearly house trained, Crate trained, Loves to cuddle, Gia is still learning about kids. She has been around her foster family’s boys regularly but she remains a little standoffish and doesn’t really want them petting her yet. She’ll need a family willing to let her build confidence at her own pace. She hasn’t met cats yet, but her foster family doesn’t anticipate that being a major issue. Gia doesn’t need to be the boldest dog in the room. She just needs someone who will give her the time and patience to discover that the world is a pretty wonderful place.
