8-year-old, 25-pound hound mix
who came to us in heartbreaking condition. He was suffering from
tick paralysis
and was unable to move. We immediately got to work, removing the hundreds of ticks covering his body. Within just a few hours, Sounders began moving normally again. Talk about a comeback! ❤️
Today, this sweet boy is showing everyone just how special he is. Sounders is an absolute
love bug
who is friendly with just about everyone—
dogs, cats, kids, bunnies, and more!
He has the kind of gentle, happy personality that makes you wonder how anyone could have ever let him down.
Sounders is also
crate trained
and is working hard on his
house training
. He’s ready to find a family who will give him the love, patience, and stability he deserves for the rest of his life.
Sounders does have
dry eye
, a condition that requires lifelong treatment with eye drops. His adopter will need to be committed to keeping up with his medication so his eyes stay comfortable and healthy.
