Meet Eden! Born 7/1/2025
Eden is a gorgeous 1-year-old fluffy white and orange girl with the sweetest little orange beauty marks on her face and unbelievably soft fur. As beautiful as she is on the outside, its her journey that makes her truly special.
Eden came to us after finding herself on a euthanasia list due to a minor and temporary skin condition (now healed) and being fearful of people. She had experienced some mishandling in the past, which understandably made her unsure about human touch and being handled. Since coming into foster care, she has been given the time, patience, and gentle interactions she needed to begin building trust.
And Eden has come such a long way. She has learned that people can be safe and that snuggles can actually be pretty wonderful. She now enjoys affection and cuddling with people she trusts. She can still be a little nervous at times, especially while getting comfortable with someone new, so shell do best with an adopter who can be gentle with her, read her cues, and give her a little time to settle in. Once Eden feels safe, getting to know her is incredibly rewarding.
Eden also absolutely loves other animals. She has been raised in foster care with cats, a dog, and even a rabbit, and she does wonderfully with all of them. She enjoys having animal friends around and could be a great addition to a home with other friendly pets.
Eden may need a little patience as she adjusts to her new home, but she has already shown just how loving and affectionate she can be when she feels secure. She has the softest fur, a beautiful little face, and a sweetness that makes earning her trust completely worth it.
