~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption,
things could drastically change a month later. Since we don’t have a long health history of your
adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam
and follow up exams.~
Health: ***** No obvious health issues found during vet exam *****
Temperament: Capone is doing GREAT and slowly learning that humans aren’t nearly as scary as he originally thought. He’s still a little skittish, but he’s making progress! We can finally pet him on his back, although he’s still not a fan of the whole “please touch my head” concept.
Car rides? LOVES them!
Treats? ABSOLUTELY!
Curious and nosey? Oh, you betcha! This boy needs to know what EVERYONE is doing at ALL times.
And then there’s his new obsession…
THE HAND TOWELS.
Capone discovered the hand towel hanging on the oven and apparently decided it was the greatest toy ever invented. He would grab it and take off running with it straight to his little playhouse like he had just stolen the Crown Jewels!
After repeatedly retrieving our towel from his hideout, we finally surrendered and put ALL the hand towels up.
He’s a sweet, funny little guy who is learning to trust and enjoy life. We know there’s a wonderful personality hiding underneath that shyness, and we’re excited to watch him continue to blossom.
