Meet Peanut (Butters)!
Peanut, affectionately known as Butters, is a 5-year-old, handsome brown & white Pit Bull weighing about 75 pounds — and he may just be the big, lovable dream dog someone has been waiting for!
Butters is reliably housebroken, crate trained, cuddly, loving, and absolutely loves everyone and everything. He gets along with other dogs and has lived with cats, too. He would be a wonderful playmate for another sturdy dog, but he would also be very happy being your one-and-only.
And this big guy has really come into his own! Butters has calmed substantially, and his manners are now quite impressive. He knows what “manners” means and has learned sit, stay, and is doing really well with “down.” He may have been a little late to the training game, but once he understands what you’re asking, he lives to please and picks things up quickly.
Training is still relatively new to Butters, so he occasionally needs a gentle reminder, but he doesn't need anything complicated — kind, consistent training is plenty for this eager-to-please boy.
Honestly, it’s hard to imagine a situation that wouldn’t suit Butters as long as he has a person who truly loves him. He is affectionate, devoted, eager to learn, and ready to be someone’s best friend.
Butters really could be a dream dog for somebody.
