Meet Lottie! Lottie is a 26 lb. approximately 1–1½-year-old Shar-Pei/Basset Hound mix who was found as a stray in Calexico. She can be shy and nervous with new people and experiences, but once she realizes she’s safe, her sweet and silly personality comes out. Then she’s all love, cuddles and affection!
Lottie has a moderate energy level and loves running around the park and being goofy, followed by a good nap and cuddle session. She does well with other dogs but would be equally happy as an only dog or with canine siblings. She is respectful and somewhat submissive with other dogs and understands boundaries around food and toys.
Lottie is house trained, uses the doggy door and is great on a leash. She has free roam of her foster home, and has been left alone without any destructive behavior. She’s good in the car, although a little nervous, and has been around children with no aggression.
Lottie loves being near her people, follows you around, and does the cutest little bow and paw at your feet when she’s excited to see you. She just needs a patient family to help her continue building confidence. Once Lottie trusts you, be prepared for one cuddly, goofy and incredibly sweet little girl!
Lottie is up to date on all vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $300.
