I'm cute, I'm cuddly, but oh boy am I full of energy. I'm your typical hound dog and love to follow my nose. I love to run, play, sniff, and explore. I'm quite intelligent and the perfect age for training. I'm currently working on learning how to sit, walk on a leash, and house train. I know how to get along with dogs of all ages and cats. I absolutely adore children who will run and play with me, but I do sometimes forget they are not puppies and will nip them. I was bottle raised as my mom passed away during a c-section. The rest of my siblings when to another rescue so I've only had adult dogs and kitties to play with in my foster home and sometimes forget the humans are not for chewing. My foster mom suggests you research my breed mix before applying to adopt. Bluetick coonhounds and beagles were bred to hunt, we will follow our nose wherever it leads us and often have a loud bark/bray. We are not sooted for apartment living. We need a home with a large secure fence and a very active family. I would absolutely love a forever home that goes hiking, camping, or would allow me to participate in doggy agility.
