08/26/26 16:34Mimi is a 5 month old grey and white kitten who has been through a lot! She was treated by a loving foster for ringworm, and has cleared her infection completely. She is spayed, chipped, vaccinated, dewormed.More recently she had developed a head tilt. Otoscopic exam reveals a ruptured ear drum on the left side, and what appears to be a polyp deep in the middle ear that is visible beyond the ruptured ear drum. It is too deep within the ear canal to be easily accessible through a traditional otoscope with forceps. This kitten is in need of a visit to a veterinary dermatolotist in the area who can use a video otoscope (advanced equipment) to access the middle ear and treat her polyp. If not accessible with this endoscope-type equipment, she may need surgical acess. We are seeking URGENT rescue for Mimi - ideally an organization that can commit to bringing her to a veterinary dermatologist for definitive treatment of what we supsect is a middle ear polyp. Alternatively, she is available to any adopter who has the resources to provide this care for Mimi.
