Meet Penny!

Penny is a sweet young girl who we estimate to be around 6 months old, and she has already been through more than any puppy should have to endure. Penny came to us from Animal Control in Wisconsin after suffering a severe broken leg. Despite everything she has been through, this little girl continues to show us just how resilient and loving she is.

Penny’s leg may ultimately need to be amputated, but because she is still so young, we are confident that she will adapt incredibly well if that ends up being the best option for her. We will be working closely with our veterinary team and following their recommendations to make sure Penny receives whatever care is truly in her best interest.

Right now, Penny is focused on being a puppy — learning, growing, and soaking up all the love she deserves. She is looking for a family who understands that she may have some extra medical needs along the way, but who also sees what we see: a bright, beautiful little girl with so much life ahead of her.

Penny has already overcome so much in her short life, and we cannot wait to see what her future holds. She deserves a family who will give her patience, love, and the chance to show everyone just how special she is.
