Walter is a handsome 3‑month‑old Cavapoo puppy who was recently released from a breeder. His little testicles didn’t descend, but that didn’t bother us one bit — we knew this sweet boy would still have plenty of people excited to meet him. And we were right! Walter is expected to be around 15–20 pounds when fully grown.
Walter is a smart, playful little guy who is full of mischief in the best puppy way. He loves other dogs, big or small, and he’s good with cats too. He enjoys being outside, exploring, and taking in the world around him. He rides nicely in the car and is always ready for an adventure.
His basic puppy skills are coming along well. Walter is learning leash walking, crate training, and housetraining, but he is still a baby, so adopters should expect to continue his training as he grows into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. He was professionally groomed and did wonderfully — he will need regular grooming to keep him looking dapper and feeling his best.

Walter is up to date on his age‑appropriate vaccines, including rabies, microchipped and flea/worm treated. Because his testicles have not descended, he will be neutered at 6 months of age in hopes they come down naturally before surgery. Adopters will be required to sign a spay/neuter contract, with his procedure scheduled at EACH on a date to be determined in December.
In accordance with New York State Agriculture & Markets Law § 377A, there is an additional $35 refundable fee, which will be returned once Walter has been neutered. His adoption fee is $750, which includes the cost of his neuter.
