Bellatrix was an incredibly young mom, who has raised her kittens well, and is now looking for a nice, quiet home, with a good bird viewing window to spend her days. Bellatrix loves to play! She didn't really get to enjoy being a kitten, and she is making up for it now! Tunnels, lasers, kicker toys, and things with feathers are all her favorite things. When the house is quiet, and the mood strikes her, she is often found by her foster mom having the time of her life playing with a toy. Bellatrix likes cats more than she likes people (which is fair). Anyone looking to adopt Bellatrix needs to be very patient and willing to go at her speed. These days, she is still aloof at times, especially when company comes over, but she does come asking to be petted, often rubbing against legs during morning coffee, and will flop over on her back to get chest and neck scratches. Her favorite spots to spend time with people are on the couch and snuggled up in bed at night. Bellatrix does okay with older children, but loud noises and kids running through the house do send her hiding. She would be best suited for a quieter home. Speaking of safe places to get away, she loves to sit high on top of her cat tree and take naps when she isn't lounging in the catio watching birds.
