Hi! My name is Nickel, because when I came to the shelter they found a nickel in my carrier! I am a sweet boy who was living outdoors and a kind person cared for me for many months and then brought me here to find my forever home. One of my ears looks a bit crumpled but is perfectly healthy and makes me look even more adorable! I am a bit shy, but with patience, time and treats, I will soon be your best friend! I am on a special diet to prevent GI issues and I am also positive for FIV, and the staff can give you more information about that. I get along well with other cats and can live with cats who do not have FIV as long as they also get along with others. I am living in the shelter's office with my friend Neon, and we love to cuddle and play together! Neon and I have a special bond and we need to be adopted together so that we will have a best friend for life! You can come meet me anytime Wednesday through Monday between 12-4pm, no appointment needed (Tuesdays we are open by appointment only).
