Royal's story started out in the courtyard of a mental health facility. A patient found this tiny kitten near a storm drain and, worried she could be hurt or fall in, secretly brought her into their room. Knowing they could not keep her in their room indefinitely, she was released into the facility's courtyard, where she disappeared overnight during some severe storms.

The next day an employee spotted her and safely rescued her. Thankfully, they reached out for help, and Royal made her way into rescue.

From a scary and uncertain beginning, this little girl has blossomed into the sassy, spunky, adorable kitten she is today.

Royal now deserves the ending every kitten dreams of: a soft place to land, a family to call her own, and a lifetime of knowing she is cherished and loved.

Her story brought her to us. Now we're hoping it leads her home.
