Hey there, everyone! I’m Onyx, an outgoing, friendly, and affectionate Bombay mix fella who has never met a stranger! No siree! I don’t let any people, other cats, or most dogs intimidate me! Instead I like to cuddle and sleep with Foster Meowmy as well as play with my kitty foster mates and the resident dogs. Because I’m always ready to check out interesting food choices, I can be very mischievous when I steal Foster Meowmy’s food!
When I was about five weeks old, I showed up on the doorstep of a nice lady’s apartment as an orphan with no momma or siblings in sight. Although this Good Samaritan couldn’t keep me, she brought me inside to the safe haven of her apartment until she could turn me over to Foster Meowmy’s care as she had done once before. I fit in seamlessly to the dynamics of the furry residents in my foster home, and I was delighted that I could tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my foster-kitten siblings. Plus the adult cats became my surrogate aunts and uncles who taught me all the manners that Momma would’ve taught me if she’d been around.
Now I’m ready to become the Mr. Congeniality and Velcro kitten who likes to stick close to and snuggle with my forever hooman family. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! I promise that we’ll fall head over paws in love with each other the instant we meet!

Onyx’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.
