Fern is a sweet 9-month-old female Shih Tzu mix who is ready to leave her rough start behind and begin the happy life she deserves!Fern came into the shelter in heartbreaking condition, covered in mats and having clearly spent some time living on the streets. Despite everything she has been through, Fern has remained a happy, friendly, and loving little dog. After receiving some much-needed grooming and TLC, she is looking and feeling her best—and she’s ready to find her forever family.Fern loves playing with other small dogs and would enjoy having a canine friend to romp around with. She also enjoys going for walks and exploring the world around her. With her cheerful personality and young age, Fern is sure to bring plenty of fun, love, and companionship to her new home.She’s been through a lot, but Fern hasn’t let her past change her sweet spirit. Now, all she needs is someone to show her what it means to be truly loved and cared for.Fern is ready for her forever home.
