Jax is a happy boy who is looking for a home! He's currently with our rescue partners in Louisiana but hoping to come to NJ soon with a foster or adopter.
Jax is a sweet, gentle soul who's a little shy when meeting new people, but in the most endearing way. He takes a little time to warm up, then quietly settles in and enjoys being part of the family. He's also a dream on a leash, walking beautifully without pulling, making him a wonderful walking companion.
One thing we know for sure—Jax absolutely LOVES other dogs! A home with a canine companion is a must for this social boy. He's also settling into foster care beautifully and appears to be kennel trained. He sleeps peacefully in his crate at night, relaxes there when his foster is away, and spends his days happily lounging nearby while his foster works
.
Jax is fixed,
microchipped and up to date on rabies, DHPP and Bordetella vaccines. Jax is finishing up his heartworm treatment and will be all ready to head to NJ on October
. His adoption donation is $500

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
