Brief Bio: MJ is one of three bottle-fed littermates: MJ and her brothers, Rocket and Peter. The kittens came into foster care at approximately 2 weeks old on July 9 and have been raised in a busy, loving home environment.MJ has grown up with two large dogs, two tween children, and occasional kindergarten-age visitors. She has not had experience with cats outside her litter or with small pets/critters. The kittens have free run of the house when the family is home; when no one is home, they are safely kept in their own room so they are not left unsupervised with the dogs.MJ is comfortable being cuddled and handled, has her nails clipped, uses the litter box consistently, and enjoys playing with the family’s dogs. She is social, confident, and used to everyday household activity.Summary of Personality:MJ is a funny, loving, opinionated little brown classic tabby with golden eyes, beautiful stripes, and adorable belly spots. She confidently holds her own with her two brothers and brings plenty of personality to every room she enters.She is the most energetic kitten of the group and loves to roughhouse with her brothers, chase a wand toy, and play either alongside a person or independently. MJ will happily keep pouncing and playing long after her brothers have lost interest. She enjoys engaging with people but is also great at entertaining herself with a favorite toy.For all her energetic kitten antics, MJ may be the group’s best cuddler. When playtime ends, she wants to settle as close as possible to her person—often near their face—and purr away. She also enjoys curling up with the family’s large dogs, including nesting against the 75-pound Golden Retriever’s legs and napping.
