He barks when excited or when someone is at the door. He is a great lap dog and if you give him belly rubs, he'll be your best friend. Marvin loves going on walks and hikes. Marvin would thrive in a home without small children/toddlers, but is ok wih older children. He is usually okay with other dogs, but may take a while to warm up. He can be a bit territorial with his food, but only to other dogs. He's never bitten me. He had an accident with one of his claws as a young dog and has been very scared of getting his nails trimmed ever since. No medical issues that I know of.
