Meet Gizmo! This adorable 2-year-old, 9-pound little mix is basically a pocket-sized party animal with a serious cuddling habit. Gizmo loves squeaky toys, fetch, playing with other dogs, treats, and being wherever his people are. When playtime is over, he turns into the ultimate cuddle bug and loves curling up next to you—or under the covers!Gizmo is house-trained, rides well in the car, and has good leash manners. He’s happy to entertain himself with toys, but he’d really love a playful doggie friend who can keep up with his fun-loving personality. He does well with cats, although his enthusiastic greetings can be a little much for a shy kitty. He hasn’t been tested with kids yet.He’s smart, treat-motivated, and working on his basic commands. He’s also crate-comfortable and will often go in on his own to eat, chew a bone, or relax. If he gets lonely, you may hear an adorable little howl.Gizmo has a cute underbite, perky ears, and a head tilt that will melt your heart. He has a slightly gimpy back leg, but it doesn’t seem to slow him down—he runs, plays, walks, and gets around just fine.Gizmo is looking for a home where he’ll get plenty of playtime, walks, cuddles, and attention. Another playful dog would be a huge bonus, but an adopter who enjoys being his playmate could work, too.
