Hi, my name’s Pistachio! My siblings and I came to Mostly Mutts with the help of a good citizen who wanted us to have good homes. We spent time in a great foster home before recently moving to the Kitty Room at the shelter. Now, we are soaking up love from the wonderful volunteers waiting to rescue our new families. Come meet me soon!

• OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS: I get along great with my siblings, so I may enjoy another kitty in my new home. If you have a nice kitty at home who may enjoy a kitten friend, let’s meet! / I was curious about the dogs in my foster home and hunched my back at them. It likely will depend on the dog, but if you have a kitty-friendly doggie at home, we can probably be pals. / Children in my new home may be nice, since I am a playful kitten. Best they are gentle and know how to handle a kitten, and—of course, let’s meet!

• PERSONALITY INFORMATION: When we first arrived at our foster home, we were a little shy and unsure of everything. But with some time, love, and patience, we all came out of our shells and showed our true personalities! I have learned how fun it is to cuddle—so if you’re looking for a gentle, cuddly companion with a calm personality and a big heart, I might be your perfect match!

• SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS: I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love attention and being close to you, but I’m also perfectly happy to take things at my own pace. Like my siblings, I love chasing wands, playing with all kinds of kitten toys, climbing my cat tree, and curling up in my cozy, cushy beds when it’s time to rest. I especially love wrestling and rough housing with my siblings—it’s one of my favorite ways to have fun! / I can't think of any dislikes since I am a kitten, but I would not like it if I didn't get the love and attention all kitties deserve!

• MEDICAL: I am up-to-date on my kitten shots, microchipped and spayed.

Who We Are: Mostly Mutts is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization, staffed almost entirely by volunteers!

Our Mission is to help the Unwanted, Abandoned, Abused and Sick animals in our local counties. We fulfill this mission by working closely with County Animal Control Facilities, saving those who are in imminent danger of euthanasia, or those with needs which require specialized vet care that many other groups will not consider: major orthopedic issues, heartworm positive treatment, skin conditions, neglect and abuse

Adopting a Friend: Dogs:
Our standard adoption fee is $299. Each dog that MM adopts out to a Furever home has the following basic vetting: • Spay or Neuter Surgery • Vaccinations up to date according to age (Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella) • De-Worming • Microchip • Heartworm Testing (1 yr & older) we pay for treatment for any HW+ animal after adoption at our own vet

Cats: Our adoption fee is $175 for cats and kittens. Each cat that MM adopts out to a Furever home has the following basic vetting: • Spay or Neuter Surgery • Vaccinations up to date according to age (Rabies, FVRCP) • De-Worming • Combo-Tested (FeLV/FIV)

The first step in the adoption process is to submit an application through our website, www.mostlymutts.org. You may also call our phone line, 770-272-6888 or email adopt@mostlymutts.org with specific questions about any of our adoptable animals. We do require an interview, references and a contract. Must be 21 or over to adopt. Our Adoption process is very thorough...MM prides itself in making every effort to place each animal in the right home.
